The Story of the Guardian Who Watches Over the Stars
The woman painted on the hotel’s façade
embodies the “guardian” of HOSHI no MORI.
True to the meaning held in its name —
“Hoshi” (star) and “Mori” (to protect) —
she is depicted quietly watching over this place and its people.
By day she stands gently;
by night she glows with phosphorescent light,
revealing another expression.
This work was created by Reskate Studio,
an artist duo based in Spain,
as part of the “Harreman Project” begun in 2015,
painting murals that express the character of each region.
Together with this artwork that catches your eye during your stay,
we hope you enjoy the quiet time found only in this place.
